The more interesting ones are where they pretend to be from one of your top commenters, only with a different e-mail address and url, but they have decent content because they actually pertain to the discussion.

I’ve been changing the names on those. Man, why must it always be about link juice?

When “Cash Back” started commenting, I was in two minds about what to do. Yes, he is using the comments on this website to link back to his site – but on the other hand, he has (unlike spammers in the past) bothered to read and reply to what I have written. It seemed to me that this was not an illegitimate use of the comments on this blog.

However, today we have the same trick being used by someone selling dyslexic birth control in Florida … or something like that!

If I get any more of this I will set all links to “no follow” so they are not used by google page ranking, and I will delete all such comments.

Please bear this in mind if you are inclined to copy these commentators.

wow! 400 down, you certainly have read quite a few novels. some people I know just don’t have the patience to read anything, reading just isn’t as fast paced as movies… and forget kids who watch too much TV , you can almost bet that they will not enjoy or want to read novels.
