The standards in our secondary school standard (former o’ level) and out further education standard (former A’ Level) is dropping year on year.
There is no way that our universities can cut out the lower ability students with just an examination grade.
The exam results cannot be split out between the very able to the mediocre – and the very able are missing out.
In my opinion, the very able should be allowed to shine and lead our country into a new era – but they are not allowed to do so – being dragged down by mediocre individuals who should not be there at all.
Crappy government – let the individuals shine through and get rid of crappy polytechnics (or what used to be polytechnics c:1970)
